What do you do when you find yourself in love with two Windsor homes for sale and you can’t decide which one to choose?  Each home as a little something different to offer – all appealing to you and your family.  Or maybe your spouse likes one home while you prefer another style.

These are tough decisions and should be considered with the utmost care.  If you find yourself in this position, it’s time to sit down and write a pro and con list. Here are some things you may want to compare:


Whether you have children or not, it’s always a good idea to be in the best possible school district.  Certainly, you know this if you have children, but if you don’t, you may think it’s not an important issue, but consider resell on your Windsor homes.  If at some point you know you will move one day, remember that Windsor homes in excellent school districts are highly sought after.


If your two Windsor homes are in different neighbourhoods, what are the good and bad points of each?  Is crime is an issue? Are parks are nearby, shopping?  Restaurants? Work?  These are all import to consider when making a final decision.  Is one neighborhood more popular?  Will appreciation of one house be better than the other?

The Two Houses:

What are the special features of each home that you feel you must have?  If one has a large backyard that you absolutely need, while the other doesn’t, then write that on your list.  What if one home has a top of the line kitchen that you wanted, but the other requires an overhaul?


Certainly, you want to stay as close to your budget as possible.  Has one home been on the market longer?  Usually when this is the case, a seller may be more inclined to drop the price more significantly than another home that just went for sale.

These are a few of the major issues you must consider, and there could be many more considering on your own personal needs.  But keep going back to the Windsor homes and maybe you will find something that wasn’t noticed before that will help you make a decision.  At the very least, you will know that when eyeing two perfect Windsor homes, you will always have a back-up plan should one deal fall through.
